It includes:
- Your company’s registered address;
- Details of directors and company secretary (if applicable);
- Share-capital information and shareholders;
- Persons of Significant Control (PSCs); and
- Your business activities (SIC codes).
Keeping this up-to-date is not optional – failure to file correctly and in time may result in fines, being struck off or prosecution.

What happens if my confirmation statement is late?
If you miss the deadline, your company is classed as overdue – this may trigger a late filing fine or action by Companies House (such as strike-off proposals).
Can I file corrections if the submitted statement was wrong?
Yes. If you discover errors after filing, you should submit an update to rectify the information as soon as possible.
